MAA Conference 2010

This last weekend I attended the Mathematics Association of America located in the University of Central Missouri. We started with a two part competition. The first part took place the first night we were there and consisted of 5 questions. the second part took place the morning after and again consisted of 5 questions. We were broken up into teams of 3. I was the only calculus 1 student, the rest of them were in calculus 3 or higher, but the only question my team got correct was the one I completed. The rest of the weekend consisted of speeches given by either professors or undergraduate seniors.

The day I quit

I have never written a blog before but it can not be that hard. So here it goes. Today is my sisters birthday, it is also the day that i have chosen to quit smoking cigarettes. Now as for my sister, I shall try my best to provide her with a wonderful 21st birthday. But as for quitting cigarettes, it is very hard and stressful, so I intend to start out slow and cut back a little, like only smoking during certain parts of the day. We will see how this day turns out. Wish me luck.
